I’d heard from some of our consultants in California that the new system 11 was tricky to install and it had so many complications. For that reason I never really thought about installing it until I had some time on my hands. Unfortunately that time will never come so a couple of days ago I decided to give it a go on my old xp system. To my amazement it worked first time and it was the easiest install yet….

That was all good until I created a datasource and after the next reboot I couldn’t get  some of the services to start up. No time to deal with that right away but it gave me an idea for the next exercise. I’d like to create a step by step guide on how to install, configure and troubleshoot for EPM 11.1.1.2, however I need to know which operating system you’d like to install it on. I’ve been blogging for nearly a month now and I know it’s early days but I’d like to receive some feedback and some comments from you guys, therefore I will begin the System 11.1.1.2 tutorial when I have received 30 comments on this site.
